Wolf:
I have found Anna Wyder's baptism: Gossau 27.04.1684. The longish story has been summarized on Anna Wyder (1684-1749) oo Caspar Sidler. Born out of wedlock to a mother from Gossau with a father from Erlenbach - who ran off. You'll find all the interesting links in the forum.
I had discussed this also with Hans Ulrich Pfister - and this resulted in two more "jobs" for you:
According to his decade old notes Hans Jacob was baptised on 22.09.1720 in Ottenbach as well: could you have another look?
Possibly more interesting for you: Caspar Sidler (1663) died (or was buried) in Thalwil 09.06.1732.

Jacob Wyder of Erlenbach ZH
illegitimate union with
Susanna Wolfensberger of Gossau ZH
According to the 1708 Ottenbach population register, daughter Anna was born in 1683; according to the 1706 marriage entry, she was from Erlenbach. In the Erlenbach baptismal register, however, the baptismal entry is found in the following year:
Taufbuch Erlenbach (pdf page 40)
1864 (date not legible in the fold)
Jac. Wyder & Sus. Wolfpergerin from Gossau
Anna
bapt. at Gossau; the parents are known together before the marriage; the Wyder, however, is augmented.
The child therefore bore the father's name and belonged to Erlenbach, even if he left before the marriage. The entry in the Gossau baptismal register is more detailed here:
Taufbuch Gossau (pdf page 240)
Eodem (April 27, 1684)
Anna
Susann Wolfespergerin child in fornication, whose father Jacob Wÿder von Erlibach, have been confessed together before the marriage court that they should still be in service for some time and there is a certificate from the marriage court that the child should be baptized in Gossau and that she should be an Erlibach woman. Witnesses: Jacob Kolhop in the Brüschweid and Anna Bodmer from Allenwinden.
The mother (Susanna Wolfensberger) later married twice:
Kilchberg 27.07.1686 with Jakob Welti of Marbach;
Kilchberg 25.06.1695 with Johannes Schwarzenbach of Wollishofen.
The daughter (Anna) oo ZH-Grossmünster 05.01.1706 with Caspar Sidler (1663-1732).
I would like to thank Hans Ulrich Pfister for information and discussions on this topic.
