Johann Jacob Scholl 9 April 1701 married Eva Elisabetha Lind on the 29 Feb 1724. Eva lived from 1705 to 12 Nov 1776. Her birth year is calculated based on her death record, as seen below. I searched for her birth record and was not able to find it in the Graben records. Jacob and Eva Elisabetha had eight children Jacob was a farmer in Graben.
Eva Lind's parents are Johann Valentin Lind born about 1673 and died 10 August 1738 in Graben and Susanna who was born about 1682. Little or nothing is know about Susanna other than the fact she is mentioned as the mother of her children.

On August 10, Johann Valentin Lind, a local citizen, died and was buried thereupon on August 12 with sound and song/singing [Klang und Gesang] and with a funeral sermon.
Note: [Klang und Gesang] could mean there were a choir and some instruments. [Gesang is translated as singing.] A brief research revealed that "Klang und Gesang" means buried "under bells and singing". Especially children were buried silently. But for a man and citizen at a certain age, it would have been more than appropriate to bury him under the sound of bells and singing.
The pastor in 1738 who wrote Valentin's death record was Francs Christoph Henr. Beck. He served in Graben from 1737-1757. It is unclear why pastor Beck chose to write Valentin's entry in such a clear bold manner in contrast to the surrounding entries.
Ulrich Neitzel: It is certainly true that there were different levels of funeral ceremonies. Only on this page of the church book there are named "Läutung der kleinen Glocke" (ringing of the little bell), "Läutung aller Glocken" (ringing of all bells), "Glockenklang" (sound of bells). The little bell is often also called the "Totenglocke" (death bell).The scope of ceremonies had certainly to do with the rank of the person, which in turn determined how much was paid (or better donated) to the church for the funeral service. I don't think there was a "manual" for this purpose, but people did know it and made their arrangement with the pastor.
Kent: It is funny how it always comes back to how the bells are rung. I will bet when the bells were rung the people of the community knew exactly what each ringing meant:

Salome was born 25 Sep 1733 in Graben. She married Johann Melchior Heigl two months after this event on 21 April 1750 in Liedolsheim and they had 9 children. Salome died 14 Nov 1813 in Liedolsheim.
