Comment: I have found two definitions for "Posthalter": (1) the person in charge of a local post office; (2) the person who holds and provides horses for the local postal service.
Note: Peter Zimmerman b 1746 married Johanna Catharina Holz on 17 Oct 1786. They had 7 children. His father is Johann Caspar Zimmermann b 1739. He married Christina Magdalena Kemm 1741-1795.
