On the 23rd of April [1824] in the morning at 6:00 am was born and on the 25th [of April 1824] in the afternoon at 2:00 pm was baptized Georg Friedrich. The parents are the local citizen Philipp Krauß and his wife Margaretha, née Schollin.
The baptismal witnesses are (1) the local citizen and master weaver Philipp Wenz; (2) his wife Magdalena, née Lindin; (3) the local citizen and master tailor Christoph Lind; (4) his wife Magdalena, née Wenzin.

After in Vögisheim and Anna Maria Ehrler.
Witnesses are 1) Wilhelm Scholl, citizen and farmer there; 2) Simon Süß, citizen and farmer there

Comments: Philipp Krauss' occupation is given as Ortsdiener, literally local servant. I translated it as "beadle", not sure if this a good match. An Ortsdiener ran errands for the community administration and was responsible for announcements. Furthermore, he had to perform municipal police services as a lower level policeman. Vögisheim ( https://www.meyersgaz.org/place/21035143 ) is a village about 200 km (125 mi) south of Graben.
