Frank LaVere Anderson, 69, died August 9, 1996, at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden of complications folloing heart surgery.
He was born August 29, 1926 in McGill, Nevada the son of LaVere Clarence and Clyte Leota Robb Anderson. He married Wilma "Billie" Kroksh on February 17, 1947 in Ogden. Their marriage was solemnized on September 29, 1964 in the Logan LDS Temple.Frank lived the first five years of his life in McGill, Nevada then moving to the Tremonton, Elwood area where he resided until the time of his death. He graduated from Bear River High. He owned and operated his own farm and had been the Town Mayor of Elwood.
He was a member of the Elwood LDS Ward where he served as Bishop and on the Stake High Council. Mr. Anderson served in the Navy during World War II. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. He spent many hours in church and community service.
Surviving are his wife of Elwood, two daughters and one son and their spouses, Risee (Jack) Evans; Collinston; Lynne (Jim) Baty, Tremonton; Craig (Mary Louise) Anderson, Elwood; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, Neil (RaNae) Anderson, Renton, Washington; Clytie (Irving) Ransom, Brigham City.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 12, 1996 at 12 noon at the Tremonton South Stake House, 1150 South Tremont Street, with Bishop Shegeki Moriyama, officiating. Friends may call on Sunday, August 11, 1996 from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 10-11:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 No. 100 East, Tremonton, Utah. Interment in the Bear River City Cemetery.
