Mrs. Edith Lenora Middleton Hill Schofield, 67, of 2948
Lincoln Ave., died this morning in St. Benedict's Hospital after an extended
illness.
Mrs. Schofield was a member of the LDS Eleventh Ward and had
been an active Relief Society teacher. She was a member of the Union Pacific
Old Timers Club.
She was born Dec. 10, 1886, in Laramie, Wyo., a daughter of
Frank "Clifton Franklin Middleton" and Nancy Jane Brown. She moved to
Ogden when a child.
On June 24, 1903, she was married to Fred M. Hill in Ogden.
He died April 21, 1948. She was married to Adam L Schofield on March 24, 1950,
at Elko, Nev.
Surviving are her husband three sons: Fred L. and Ralph J.
Hill, Ogden; Arthur B. Mill, Palo Alto, Calif.; nine grandchildren, three
step-sons and three step-daughters: Vernon L., Adam K. and Lewis E. Schofield,
Ogden; Mrs. Bert (Thelma) Anderson and Mrs. Jack (Blanche) Hughes, Ogden, and
Mrs. Jesse (Jarjorie) Rigbey, Las Vegas, Nev.
Funeral services will be announced by Larkin Mortuary, 24th
Street and Adams Avenue.
