Rosilla Bachman was born February 26, 1864 in Ogden, Utah to Jacob Bachman and Elizabetha Sutter. She was their 7th of 9 children.Rosilla Bachman married Moroni Daniel Ferrin on March 13, 1885. He was sent on a mission 9 months later. Moroni served in 1886 in the North Carolina Conference and ended up being the president. Since he married Rosilla in 1885 and she died in 1889, for half of their 4 year marriage, her husband was away on a mission.

Rosilla died 31 days after the birth of her only child Rosella Ferrin on March 6, 1889, from "complication of childbirth" in Eden, Weber, Utah, She and Moroni are buried in Eden in the Mountainview Cemetery next to her parents and other Bachman relatives.
Her daughter, Rosella Ferrin (Larkin) b 3 Feb 1889, married Elijah Allen "Lige" Larkin born 1876 m 9 Dec 1914, d 9 Aug 1962.
Rosilla's name is spelled with an "i" and her daughter's name is spelled with an "e." The Larkin family were a well-known family in Ogden, because they owned the local mortuary and were involved in the community.
Emma's journal entry on the death of her mother Anna Hegetschweiler in 1921:
"Audrey and I went on the train to Utah. Elijah Larkin, my niece Rosella's husband, an undertaker on 24th Street in Ogden, met the train and took care of mother's body. We stayed in Charlotte's apartment above the mortuary. Bertha was living there with Charlotte, as Arthur had died May 30th, 1920. Charlotte was a Domestic science teacher at Weber College. Inez Stallings boarded with them.
We held the funeral Sunday February 6, 1921 in Eden. It was 21 degrees below zero and hard to dig the grave. "
